Stud Services

We will travel within 100 kms of our farm for mobile matings. Outside of this, travel is charged by negotiation. If your dam fails to get pregnant after 3 visits we may advise you to send her to us for an on farm mating and/or to be consulted by a vet.

On farm mating includes free agistment for dam and cria at foot for a maximum of 2 months. You are also welcome to do drive by matings.

Pregnancy must be confirmed within 70 days after mating, preferably by ultrasound in which the cost is to be borne by owner of dam. Invoices will be issued once pregnancy is confirmed and payment required within 30 days thereafter.

Agistment

We offer short and long term agistment in idyllic surroundings with seven separate paddocks and secure fencing.

We do not overstock so have plenty of quality pasture. Maternity paddocks are clearly visible from the house and have extra protective fencing for your crias safety.

There are also vets on hand at all times nearby, in which the cost is to be borne by the owner.

We believe that because we do not have a large herd of alpacas we can offer a more personalised service for looking after your investment.

Agistment from $11.00 (GST Incl.) per animal per week, which includes vaccinations, shearing and basic husbandry. Crias are free of charge until weaned.
